Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Our client is a global Alternative Asset Manager currently seeking to add a talented Associate to their Investor Relations Team. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain an overview and, over time, an in-depth knowledge of the broad spectrum of functions conducted in firms' Investor Relations & Fund Marketing business. This individual will play a key role in both the servicing and investor operations with firms' existing clients, working closely with senior managers across finance, investment management, fund marketing, sales, investor services, compliance/legal, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze portfolio performance data, benchmark performance and risk statistics
• Review and make necessary adjustments to client reports to ensure reports are sent out in a timely manner
• Work with all levels of team members across the organization to help coordinate and prepare investor decks (PowerPoint) for various internal and external client presentations
• Review and prepare RFI/RFPs in compliance with firms Sales and Marketing efforts
• Maintain client relationship management database and providing reports to Directors on a regular basis
• Produces presentation materials for investors and writes product language for RFPs and fund commentaries regarding market updates, performance and attribution, and investment views across equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes
• Provide various ad hoc research and analysis as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of Financial Services/Private Equity/Hedge Fund data/client reporting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Modeling
• Advanced Technical and Financial writing skills mandatory
• Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
• Innovative and creative thinker
• Must be detail oriented
