Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois School Social Worker license (IL SSW) and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Prior experience working as a social worker in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and students
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload and adapt services to students' unique needs
• Commitment to confidentiality, equity, and compassionate service

Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services to K-5 students, focusing on emotional and social development
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans and IEP goals as needed
• Consult with faculty and staff to promote a positive, supportive school climate
• Engage with families to ensure students’ well-being and connect them with community resources
• Attend and actively participate in meetings, trainings, and school events
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation
