Job Details

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Financial Aid Representative to provide administrative support and assist students with questions regarding financial aid. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable working with confidential information, and wants to grow their experience in higher education.

This is an entry-level-friendly, temporary opportunity ideal for someone with strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Assist students with general questions regarding financial aid applications, eligibility, documentation, and award processes.
Help students understand financial aid requirements, deadlines, and next steps.
Review, organize, and maintain student financial aid records and documentation.
Assist with processing financial aid forms and updating student information in internal systems.
Respond to student inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Refer complex financial aid questions to the appropriate team members.
Maintain accurate records while protecting confidential student information.
Provide general administrative support to the financial aid department.
Follow established policies and procedures to help ensure accurate and timely processing.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
Previous customer service, administrative, data entry, or office support experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and computer-based systems.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Willingness to learn financial aid policies, procedures, and systems.
A positive, service-oriented attitude and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and eager to learn. Someone with a background in customer service, reception, administrative support, or data entry could be a great fit. Previous financial aid experience is helpful but not necessarily required.
