TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Alexandria, Virginia, 22306!

Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy/GI Lab Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role License: RN License Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS Must-Have: Strong IV skills, PALS certification preferred Description: Endoscopy nurses support electroconvulsive therapy sessions. They utilize the Endoscopy navigator on the electronic medical record system. Nurses are involved in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. The primary responsibilities include timeout and documentation during procedures. RNs will be required to take call on weekends and a limited number of weekdays. Weekend on-call coverage will involve approximately 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Regular weekday on-call shifts will be self-scheduled for 2 hours. RNs are not required to float to other units. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong IV skills. The facility supports ECT cases three times a week, involving preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care. Scrubs will consist of navy blue pants and solid navy blue or solid white tops, with jackets in the same color options. This role entails a high volume of outpatient and inpatient procedures.
