Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver efficient patient assessments and treatments.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and prioritize care needs in a high-volume setting.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
Monitor patient responses to treatments and escalate concerns appropriately.
Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge instructions.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid NJ License or Compact license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Possess at least three (3) years of recent ER experience.
Have a BSN degree from an accredited institution.
Demonstrate experience with Epic electronic health record systems.
Exhibit high-volume, fast-paced environment experience.
Hold current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, with valid expiration dates.
