Class A Dedicated Local Truck Driver Job Type: Driving 18 Wheels USA is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local route based in Van Nuys, California. This home-daily position operates within approximately 250 miles of the brewery. Drivers earn an average of $1,600 per week. Compensation is mileage-based and includes bonus incentives. PAY AND ROUTE Top average weekly pay: $1,600 Dedicated local operation Limited openings available FREIGHT AND EQUIPMENT Most loads are preloaded and no-touch. Drivers are responsible for securing and strapping pallets, confirming each load is legal, and checking that the freight is in good condition before departure. Mostly preloaded freight No unloading on most loads Newer automatic-transmission trucks Trucks remain at the brewery and cannot be taken home SCHEDULE Drivers are home daily, but this is not a fixed-shift position. Start times and schedules may vary based on route and freight needs. QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class A CDL Must meet one of the following tractor-trailer experience requirements: At least 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months; or During the past 10 years, must have spent at least as much time driving a tractor-trailer as time away from driving Ability to secure palletized freight and verify that loads are safe and legal Ability to meet DOT and company hiring standards #J-18808-Ljbffr 18 Wheels USA
