Bank CustodianThe primary purpose of this position is to maintain and keep the bank clean by performing and following through with all custodian dutiesDuties And ResponsibilitiesTaking out the trash, tidying, dust pictures (frames and glass), dust furniture including desk area, and wiping surfaces as neededSweeping and mopping of floors, as well as vacuuming carpetsCleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrorsRestock necessary items, such as soap and paper productsSweeping entry areas, cleaning glass doors at entrancesDemonstrates punctuality and dependability on the job.Performs any other duties as assigned by the appropriate supervisorSkill RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredSome professional work experience as custodian, janitor, or a similar role a plusWorking knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances and how to maintain themUnderstanding of safety protocols such as disposal of chemicalsDetail-oriented and conscientiousnessPhysical DemandsWalking, standing, and/or climbing; lifting up to 30 lbs,; exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals; slippery walking surfaces; work on ladders; work aloneWork EnvironmentThe work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
