Field Applications Specialist, Molecular Diagnostics, QIAstat (Texas)

QIAGEN

Field Applications Specialist supporting QIAGEN's QIAstat-Dx molecular diagnostics instrument and chemistries in Texas. Responsibilities include installations, customer training, troubleshooting, product demonstrations, and technical support across an assigned territory with 70% travel.

Responsibilities

Install and support QIAstat-Dx instruments and associated chemistries in field locations
Conduct customer training and product demonstrations for assigned territory
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site customer support
Monitor customer evaluations and maintain routine follow-up communications
Coordinate internal and field-based resources to develop solutions for customer requests

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent
2-5 years clinical lab experience and/or field-based customer support
Deep knowledge of wet lab molecular biology methods in clinical settings
Customer-facing personality with strong relationship-building skills
Technical troubleshooting ability via phone, email, webinar, and in-person
Salesforce CRM experience highly desirable
Ability to travel 70% with 40% overnight stays; must be based near major airport in Texas

Compensation: $90,000-$105,000 base salary
