Registration Specialist

Job TitleThis position is responsible for accurate registration and insurance verification in all registration areas at MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw and Towne Centre. This position will make financial arrangements for patients without insurance or with inadequate insurance. A primary function of this position will be to perform point-of-service collections of co-pay and deductible amounts from patients at the point of discharge in a diplomatic and customer focused manner. This position must be able to work in a team atmosphere and have good communication skills. This position will perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned. Casual staff are responsible for picking up a minimum of 50% of the open shifts available. All staff may be required to provide coverage at Saginaw Main ED and OP Registration as well as Towne Centre ED and OP Registration and is responsible for registration and insurance verification of all patients who present to registration.
