Fabrication Associate - Night Shift

Job Title: Night Shift Fabrication Technician

Location: Osseo, WI

Shift: Night Shift (Monday–Wednesday, 4:30 PM – 5:30 AM; overtime may include Thursday nights)

 Pay : $20.00

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Night Shift Fabrication Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working with sheet metal and structural steel to assemble high-quality heating, cooling, and ventilating system components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components of heating, cooling, and ventilating systems and other company products
• Verify work orders using blueprints, materials, and production schedules
• Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings to fabricate steel structures
• Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other tools
• Operate power tools and fabrication equipment as required
• Communicate effectively with team members and assist others in the work area
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces following good housekeeping practices
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues
• Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment appropriately
• Identify and immediately address safety hazards in the work area
• Work safely both independently and as part of a team
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work with sheet metal and structural steel
• Willingness to learn and interpret AutoCAD drawings
• Ability to read and apply precise measurements
• Comfortable operating power tools
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Regular use of hands for handling and manipulating materials
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Strong visual acuity, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment for detecting fine defects
