Quality Control Inspector - Grade 1

Quality Control Inspector - Grade 1 Location: Durham, NC. Shift: Second Shift – 10% shift differential, Monday–Friday 3:30 pm–12:00 am. Responsibilities Inspect clinical labels prepared by Almac Label Control to ensure they meet GMPs, Almac SOPs, and customer requirements. Approve labels before issuance into packaging operations. Inspect incoming goods to ensure clinical trial materials meet GMPs, Almac SOPs, and customer requirements. Review inspections and provide batch disposition on incoming goods. Inspect labelling and assembly operations to evaluate and monitor the quality of each batch independent from production, ensuring compliance with GMPs, Almac SOPs, and customer requirements. Inspect the processing of distribution orders destined for a clinical site or depot to ensure compliance with GMP/GDPs, Almac SOPs, distribution instructions, and customer requirements. Interact with Quality, Operations, and Project Services personnel at Almac sites to report, address, and resolve quality issues. Qualifications Required Experience / Education High School Diploma/GED. At least 6 months experience in GMP manufacturing, packaging, and/or quality assurance/control or equivalent. Preferred Experience / Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a science background. GMP training and computer literacy. Effective oral and written communication skills. Organizational skills.
