Government Warranted Contracting OfficerWe are seeking a Government Warranted Contracting Officer with a proven record of managing cradle-to-grave government procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) oversight. This position plays a key role in interpreting, responding to, and negotiating Request for Proposals (RFPs) with a keen understanding of both pricing structures and technical requirements. Will also provide guidance and oversight of large scale ship building projects.As our Government Warranted Contracting Officer, you will:Serve as the company's subject matter expert on federal acquisition and government contracting.Lead cradle-to-grave contract administration, including solicitations, awards, modifications, and closeout activities.Develop, review, and manage complex RFPs, RFQs, contract modifications, and acquisition documentation in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and agency regulations.Analyze government solicitations to ensure technical, contractual, and pricing compliance.Review cost proposals for compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and DCAA/DCMA requirements.Lead negotiations with government contracting officials to achieve favorable business outcomes.Partner with proposal, finance, and technical teams to evaluate Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing strategies, evaluation criteria, and contract requirements.Ensure audit readiness by maintaining compliant contract documentation and supporting DCAA/DCMA reviews.Provide guidance on acquisition strategies, contract risk, compliance, and regulatory updates.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Contracts, Procurement, or a related field. Master's degree or JD preferred.Project Management experience or Project Management Certification preferredMinimum of 10 years of federal contracting experience, including at least 5 years as a Warranted Contracting Officer.Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government cost principles (FAR Part 15, FAR Part 31).Experience working with or for DCAA and DCMA.Strong understanding of pricing strategies, cost realism, cost/price analysis, and indirect rate structures.Exceptional negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Familiarity with contract writing systems (e.g., PRISM, PIEE) and proposal platforms.Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), CCCM, or CPCM preferred.Why Join Us?
