As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide personalized support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship. Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging in conversations, playing games, and participating in activities of interest
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
• Remind clients of medication schedules and appointments, and assist with self-administration of medications as needed
• Assist with mobility and transfers, and provide support with daily living activities such as walking, eating, and using the bathroom
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any changes or concerns to the management team

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in healthcare or related field (training provided)

• Ability to provide companionship, personal care, and assist with daily living activities

• Reliable transportation and valid drivers' license (if applicable)

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients of varying weights and mobility levels

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
