Faulkton Area Medical Center (FAMC) is an independent, non-profit Critical Access Hospital serving our community and surrounding area with pride—and we’re looking for Registered Nurses who want meaningful work in a place where they are known, supported, and trusted.

This is a full-time RN position with variable 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week) , including days, nights, rotating weekends, and holidays.

• Acute care, swing bed, or ER experience is preferred but not required
• New graduate nurses may also apply

Qualifications

• Current SD Registered Nurse licensure required. ​
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills. ​
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities. ​
• Ability to work, at times, in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment. ​

Physical Demands

• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts with frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching. ​

Work Environment

• Indoor, safety-sensitive, requiring physical presence on-site.
