Sales Support Engineer

In this role, you'll serve as a key technical partner to Sales Development Managers, Sales Centers and customers – supporting the full acquisition process from technical clarification through quotation, configuration and execution. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise throughout the customer acquisition process, reviewing specifications and ensuring alignment with product and manufacturing standards Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to product design, application and process fit Analyze customer requirements to determine standard vs. special product needs and collaborate with production and operations on feasibility Configure products, modify designs, create schematics and drawings, develop time/cost estimates and formal quotations Support product testing requirements, calculations and compliance with industry and customer standards Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, purchasing, quality and production to identify materials and qualified vendors Contribute to product industrialisation, innovation projects and sales tool development Write, edit and audit technical documentation, instructions and product literature Serve as a technical trainer for sales and marketing teams and promote products through on‑site visits and virtual engagements Utilize CAD tools (e.g. CREO) to develop custom parts and application‑specific solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical preferred) 1-3 years of experience in process automation, engineering design or related field Strong analytical, organisational and time‑management skills Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work effectively in an international, cross‑functional environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Benefits Family‑owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future.
