Are you looking to enter the exciting world of Dermatology or continue working in one of the most desired medical specialties? Our Dermatology clinic located in Brighton Michigan is looking for a Part Time Medical Assistant to join our practice that can work 2-3 days a week.  Availability needed for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and one other day TBD . Not only will you get exposure to both medical and cosmetic procedures, but you will be joining an amazingly wonderful team.   Pay $17-20 hourly based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients seeking skin, hair, nail and cosmetic medical services, including, but not limited to, preparing the rooms; pulling and maintaining charts; verifying documents; ensuring timely service; greeting patients; obtaining and documenting patient information; accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures; communicating with patients, providers and other staff members; updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system; and performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Education and Experience Preferred)

• Minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistance Program, BCLS Certification, and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications preferred but not required.
