Responsibilities: Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients Take and develop dental X-rays as directed Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits Document patient records and treatment notes accurately in dental software Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or training preferred Experience as a dental assistant or in a dental office setting is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments Radiology certification or willingness to obtain one Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-centered approach Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment Reliable, punctual, and a true team player About Us: Bartley Dentistry is a trusted dental practice serving the Windsor, CT community with a commitment to exceptional patient care and a comfortable dental experience.
