Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Day/Night every 3 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting, including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Triage, Preterm Labor, and Hyperbilirubinemia cases
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, cardiac drips, Heparin, and sedation medications as required
• Monitor and read telemetry strips; utilize GE Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) system and Phillips telemetry monitors
• Follow AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 during induction, 1:2 Postpartum)
• Float to Med/Surg Pediatrics unit during low OB census periods
• Maintain on-call availability with a 1-hour response time when required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible to practice in Minnesota
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Experience in both Labor and Delivery AND Med/Surg or Pediatrics
• Ability to titrate drips and read telemetry strips independently
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility (including CHI and/or Dignity Health) within the past year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with GE EFM systems and Phillips telemetry monitoring equipment
• Experience with respiratory therapy equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and Airvo
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and approachability
