Adjunct Professor - Art Appreciation Job Title: Adjunct Professor – Art Appreciation at Austin Community College. Responsibilities Prepare and teach Art Appreciation courses for Early College High School and Dual Credit sections using instructional strategies aligned with departmental learning outcomes. Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback to meet program and departmental expectations. Provide teaching and mentoring services to a multicultural student population in a nondiscriminatory manner. Remain current in the field through professional development activities. Perform related tasks as assigned by the department chair, dean, or vice presidents. Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications, online resources, and classroom technologies. Use an online learning management system such as Blackboard to develop course content and manage administrative duties. Meet professional standards including attendance certifications, grade submission deadlines, regular office hours, civility, and policy compliance. Qualifications Minimum educational requirement in accordance with SACSCOC accreditation standards. Reliable transportation to assigned campuses.
