The Opportunity :As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experience d research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you’ll evaluate United States Air Force capabilities.You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work alongside a team to c ond uct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret the performance needs of various capabilities. Once documented, you’ll develop the findings to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical met hods, engineering met hods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.Use your operations research knowledge to develop technologies and concepts that advance our customer's mission.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:4+ years of experience with Operations Research Analysis (ORSA), Data Science, or mathematic or analytic methodologiesExperience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteriaExperience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analysesExperience with preparing and presenting information to communicate assessment findingsExperience with R, Python, SQL, or software programs that analyze dataExperience collaborating with other analysts in an integrated development environmentExperience with survey design or analysis and interview techniquesSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Operations Research Systems Analysis, Science, Technology, Engineering, or MathematicsNice If You Have:Experience with decision models, nodal or flow modeling, or trending and forecastingExperience with code repositories, or data and information managementExperience with wargaming, simulation, or geospatial analysisPossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsMaster's degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, or Applied MathematicsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
