Located in Modesto, CA Salary: $22 an hour Plate Maker Modesto, CA$20.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Plate Maker for a growing printing industry employer in Modesto. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, machine operation, quality control, printing, or production experience who are looking to develop a long-term career. Previous flexographic plate-making experience is a plus, but training is available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Schedule
- Training Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- Regular Shift After Training: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Overtime available based on production needs
- $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
- Based on experience and qualifications
- Review work orders and production specifications.
- Produce accurate printing plates according to established procedures.
- Inspect finished plates for quality and accuracy.
- Cut, package, and prepare finished plates for delivery.
- Perform quality checks and document production information.
- Communicate issues or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety and quality standards.
- Manufacturing, production, machine operation, printing, or related experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
