Acute Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a critical access setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic treatments to patients with respiratory disorders.
• Evaluate patients' respiratory function and collaborate with the healthcare team to create treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy protocols.
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory therapies and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Comply with all safety and regulatory protocols while providing care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in acute care.
• Current certifications as required by state regulations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with patients and staff.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.

All clinical staff must complete state-specific checks prior to the start date. Results from the Tennessee Abuse Registry are required before beginning work.

Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays, and we encourage candidates from regions 60 miles or greater to apply.
