Job Summary
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for supporting shipping and billing operations by processing orders, preparing invoices, maintaining shipment records, and assisting with general clerical and administrative tasks. This role ensures customer orders are accurately assembled, verified, and released for shipment while maintaining organized documentation and supporting daily warehouse and logistics activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Release and invoice customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Process and maintain driver trip reports and shipping documentation
• Provide clerical and administrative support for shipping and billing operations
• Assemble and verify customer orders for materials and equipment prior to shipment
• Maintain shipment records and filing systems in an organized manner
• Perform photocopying, filing, and general office support tasks as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse and shipping personnel to ensure timely order processing
• Verify accuracy of shipping information and documentation
• Support inventory and logistics activities as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Preferred 6 months to 1 year of shipping or warehouse experience
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Basic clerical, administrative, and data entry skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or shipping environment
