Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a surgical or hospital setting Valid NY State Nurse Practitioner license Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications Proven ability to perform advanced wound care, suturing, hemostasis, and patient positioning Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, operating room protocols, and patient monitoring Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in EPIC charting system and medication management Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with robotics-assisted surgeries Prior perioperative or surgical first assist experience Familiarity with complex orthopedic, OB/GYN, or general surgery cases Bilingual communication skills Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Nursing or higher At least 2 years of recent, hands-on surgical or hospital-based practice Experience working with adult acutely ill patient populations Other Requirements: Must be willing to work full-time coverage starting September, including rotating shifts, weekends, and call duties Ability to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment Must adhere to strict dress code, safety, and infection control policies Availability to work shifts from 7 am to 5 pm, with potential for weekend and weeknight call Become an integral part of our commitment to excellence in surgical care—apply now to elevate your career and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives with us!
