Corporate Development Analyst

Star Dental Partners is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to help evaluate, execute, and close the acquisitions that fuel our growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you'll work at the center of our partnership strategy, analyzing opportunities, building the financial case for each deal, and helping carry transactions from first look through closing. Few analyst roles offer this level of visibility: you'll regularly present your work to the C-suite and our private equity sponsors and collaborate with leaders across the business. Responsibilities

• Evaluating potential acquisition opportunities
• Preparing investment review packages for the management team
• Building and maintaining Board level presentations for the Development department
• Conducting analysis across multiple lead generation channels to ensure the department is allocating investment dollars appropriately
• Helping coordinate due diligence
• Drafting value creation plans with Directors to ensure a successful investment post close
• Wearing multiple hats as needed and being a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Economics or similar field required
• 1-3 years of relevant experience as an (a) Analyst in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or direct lending, or (b) in a multi-site, business development role
• 1 year of experience communicating with small business owners
• Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, SharePoint)
• Required to commute to the Plano, TX office at least 4 days per week
• Ability to maintain a full-time employment schedule of approximately 40 hours per week extended hours may be requested or required

Practice Description

Star Dental Partners (SDP) is a private equity backed Dental Support Organization that acquires private practice dental office throughout the Southeastern United States and provides industry proven non-clinical support services to our dentist partners. Specifically, the SDP team assists dentists with payables and cash management, revenue cycle collections and payor relationships, inventory management, payroll administration, human resources, marketing, recruiting, and back-office management. With the benefits of scale and experience from professional management, partner dentists and their staff are free to focus their attention on the clinical side of the business.

Tyree & D'Angelo Partners (TDP) is a Chicago-based private equity investment firm that makes control ownership investments in, and partners with, lower middle market businesses with the goal of creating meaningful value for all involved. TDP is currently investing out of its second fund and has approximately $1B of equity capital under management.
