Counselor Intern Specializing In Substance Use

We are looking for a dedicated Counselor Intern specializing in substance use with a focus on mental health to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of addiction and mental health challenges and be committed to helping clients achieve recovery and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions for clients dealing with substance use and mental health concerns, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and goals, providing education on addiction, mental health, and coping strategies to support clients in their recovery journey, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients, and maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.
