Regional Sales Manager

Overview AP Executive Staffing is partnering with an industry-leading manufacturer to identify an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth throughout the commercial HVAC and plumbing markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and growing market share across a multi-state territory. In this highly visible role, you'll work closely with manufacturers' representatives, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and building owners to expand market presence, deliver technical solutions, and achieve aggressive sales objectives. Responsibilities Drive revenue growth and achieve regional sales goals within the assigned territory. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share across the commercial HVAC, commercial plumbing, and service markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers' representatives, consulting engineers, contractors, and end users. Serve as a trusted technical resource, providing guidance on product selection and system applications. Support projects throughout the entire sales cycle, from specification through installation and startup. Partner with representatives to increase product awareness and identify new business opportunities. Expand service network relationships and support regional service revenue growth initiatives. Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships, sales opportunities, and pipeline activity. Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and presentations throughout the region. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer support and project execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Experience within commercial HVAC systems, chilled water plants, or related mechanical systems. Previous regional sales, business development, or technical sales experience. Professional Engineer (PE), LEED AP, or trade organization involvement is a plus. Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. Strong organizational skills and experience using CRM platforms. Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% throughout the assigned territory.
