Multi Bay Shop Manager Manage multi bay shop performing maintenance and repairs on BJU University and BJU Press vehicles and equipment in support of daily operations. Principal duties and responsibilities include: Maintain a clear and organized shop Diagnose & repair mechanical and electronic symptoms Fleet vehicle maintenance experience helpful Gasoline, diesel, small engine, & trailer experience preferred Other duties as assigned by supervisor Required knowledge, skills and abilities include: Perform all types of equipment and vehicle maintenance including but not limited to oil changes, powertrain, drivetrain, suspension, tire, transmission, brakes, differential, and HVAC service. Diagnose, locate, and repair electrical, electronic and computerized vehicle systems. Diagnose, repair and replace braking systems, drive trains, and transmissions Professional in appearance and presentation Effective in oral and written communication Experience with Outlook, online service manuals, online parts acquisition CDL (Bus & Tractor/Trailer) preferred; ASE certification helpful Other physical requirements include: Drive motorized vehicles Work around machines Work above floor level Exposed to dust, fumes, gases Exposed to marked changes in temperature Work outdoors in varying weather Repetitive hand movement (firm grasp)both hands Repetitive hand movement (grasp and pull)both hands An applicant for a position in the Bob Jones University group Bob Jones University, Bob Jones Academy or BJU Press must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
