This rewarding contract position is suited for either a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is passionate about supporting young learners as they build essential communication skills.

Enjoy a predictable schedule of four days each week—with the possibility of an additional half day on Wednesdays—working 6 ½ hour days. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated SLPA already on staff, sharing ideas and support as you address the needs of a manageable caseload of approximately 32 early childhood students.

Qualifications:

• Current license or certification as an SLP or SLPA
• Experience or strong interest in Early Childhood education
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress tracking
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and organization skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language services tailored to the needs of early childhood students
• Evaluate and assess students to determine skills and develop intervention plans
• Write and implement IEPs, including progress monitoring
• Collaborate with staff, families, and your fellow SLPA to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
• Participate in team meetings to support student outcomes
