The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.In this role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain, Program leadership, engineering and the supply base. You’ll execute the Program material strategy at our suppliers’ facilities to ensure our suppliers are ready to support our upcoming increased rate. In addition, this team will serve as the liaison for the internal supply chain team, program engineering, program leadership, and supply base as the point of contact inside the supplier to assist with any delivery or technical concerns.This position supports production efforts and requires us to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment where successful material strategy execution is a key contributor to overall program success.This position is primarily a hybrid role that requires the ability to travel.What You Will Do: Coordinating purchase requirements with Engineering, Program Operations Management, and Production Control Planning and SchedulingIdentify supply gaps and strategies to address Experience in preparing documents and present presentations to key members of the leadership teamWork with PMO, CGO, and program supply chain team to develop and implement material strategies that support our Multi Year productionParticipating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performanceDevelop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plansInfluence others to achieve overall objectives and long-range goals of the programTravel to key suppliers to support program growth strategyLiaison between supply base, supply chain, engineering, and program management weekly on status of supplier healthCoordinate with internal supply chain, engineering, and program management team on any technical or delivery concerns with path to solution strategyTravel domestically, ~85-95%Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experienceExperience in supply chain, finance, operations, project management, and/or program management roleExperience managing supplier performance relative to financials, performance metrics, and/or contract complianceQualifications We Prefer:Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense IndustrySupplier management experience Experience with government regulations (i.e. FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.)Excellent reporting skills and experience leading and/or participating in cross functional teamsMPM Level 4 (or higher) and/or PM Level 7 (or higher) CertificationWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
