Receptionist

AdviniaCare Waterview Villa is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team! As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our facility. If you have a passion for working with seniors and a strong background in customer service, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, 40 hours/week opportunity. Duties & Responsibilities Operate telephone while utilizing proper phone etiquette Receive and direct all persons entering the facility to appropriate areas Responsible for general typing and secretarial functions Distribute paychecks per policy and procedure Receive and direct incoming mail and deliveries appropriately Demonstrate correct safety techniques Respect and take care of facility equipment and not wasteful of supplies Contribute to and promote resident and family relations Knowledgeable in facility’s Privacy Practice and complies by protecting all residents’ health information Other duties as assigned by manager Specific Requirements Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines Must possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnel Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Has knowledge of personnel application procedures Must be able to type 50 words per minute Is knowledgeable of all office equipment Work Environment As a Receptionist at AdviniaCare Waterview Villa, you will work in a warm and comfortable environment that prioritizes the well-being of our residents.
