Company:Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Test EngineeringGeneral Summary:** This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship. **Job OverviewWork as part of a large test and engineering systems organization which handles test automation infrastructure, test strategy, test plan development and execution & report management in Power and thermal test areas of CPU, DDR, Peripherals, AI and other technologies.Role will include daily collaboration with other test engineers and power ecosystem as well as product engineers.Use power measurement equipment to collect measurements for system use cases on test platformTest planning and execution of test cases for Power/Thermal SW and debugging of SW related issues/problems on all Qualcomm chipset for various HLOS and non-HLOS Subsystems (Android, Windows etc.).Execution of functional/features tests for power/thermal SW and power/ thermal characterization/optimizationThermal and Power Testing of high peak power use casesProvide test results and characterization/optimization data to cross functional teams.Thermal mitigation algorithm validation and junction/skin temperature profilingMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Preferred Qualifications3+ years Systems Test Engineering or related work experienceUnderstanding of SW product life cycle and experience with SW test methodologiesExperience in any operating systems platform testing (Google Android, Windows phone etc)Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh level organization and results documentationPassion for learning and intellectual curiosityCommunication and ability to partner with othersExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.Thermal/Power test experience on any platform is a plusKnowledge of Power and Thermal SW features is a plusKnowledge/experience of embedded systems is a plusKnowledge of Thermal Device Profile is a plusExperience with Ubuntu/Linux server OS and related tools is a plusDevelopment skills in Python, C/C++ is a plusQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
