The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.St. Clare of Assisi School has an opening for a part-time Technology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The technology teacher will work closely with classroom teachers to integrate technology needed to advance student needs. This will include but not be limited to: teaching keyboarding skills, Google Workspace, Docs, Slides, Sheets, teaching how to make presentations and reports, and educational apps used in classrooms.Job Responsibilities:Planning and delivering instruction in basic technology skills, typing, and software use.Teaching digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible technology behaviors.Introducing foundational coding concepts and problem-solving activities.Maintaining and organizing computer lab hardware, peripherals, and supplies.Supporting teachers with technology integration and digital tools.Assessing student progress and adapting instruction for diverse ability levels.Creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.Collaborating with staff and participating in school-wide initiatives.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.Current and valid teaching certificate.Prior classroom teaching experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm for technology in education.Growth mindset and passion for helping students build digital confidence.Completion of the Protecting God's Children workshop (required by the Archdiocese of St. Louis).The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
