Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic individual for a procurement role at Teledyne Reynolds in Torrance. The position focuses on sourcing high‑voltage interconnect solutions for Military, Industrial, Medical, Energy, and Space applications. Responsibilities Coordinate procurement activities including quotation, negotiation, regulatory compliance, purchase‑order placement, delivery, payment discrepancies, and non‑conformance actions. Analyze requirements, preliminary specifications, preferred suppliers, and commodity timelines. Solicit and evaluate end‑user proposals, ensuring data integrity in the ERP system. Evaluate potential suppliers against specified requirements and communicate findings to management. Negotiate cost, quality, and schedule, achieving the lowest price while meeting optimal standards. Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and related documents to preserve accurate records. Ensure on‑time delivery at negotiated price and required quality. Coordinate cost‑effective shipping methods. Other Potential Responsibilities Implement blanket agreements and SPA/LTA’s compliant with company and government regulations. Participate in annual inventory cycle counts. Analyze market trends. Track on‑time delivery via TIPQA Quality Module. Conduct supplier visits as necessary. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus seven years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in estimating figures and amounts including discounts, interest, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic algebra and geometry skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of import/export requirements and ability to consult with import/export personnel. Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Experience with relevant software such as design, analysis, and ERP systems. U.S. Person status (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). Background and Security All candidates must complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment. Applicants may be required to meet specific security clearance or access restrictions related to the facility. Salary Range $77,900.00–$103,800.00.
