Shift: 1 st Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week, with up to 10 hours overtime available

Now hiring for immediate openings. Start a full-time warehouse position supporting receiving operations in a modern distribution environment. This role focuses on accurately receiving, inspecting, labeling, documenting, and organizing inbound products. This opportunity offers consistent hours, weekly pay, and the potential for permanent hire after approximately 90 days based on attendance and performance.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks as a Receiving Clerk Will Be:

• Receive inbound products and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode systems, and inventory tracking tools to process receipts and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect incoming products for quantity, condition, labeling, and quality; identify and report discrepancies or damage.
• Label, sort, organize, and stage received products for put-away or internal transfer.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory accuracy activities.
• Communicate receiving discrepancies and status updates to warehouse team members and other departments.
• Follow company safety procedures, ergonomic lifting practices, HazCom requirements, and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area. No motorized material handling equipment operation is required.

Work Environment:

• Modern warehouse environment using inventory systems, RF scanners, barcode technology, and other receiving tools.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, dirt, equipment noise, and active warehouse traffic.
• Frequent handling of products weighing up to 50 lbs; lifting requirements above 50 lbs are not part of this role.
• No operation of forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks, or other motorized MHE is required.
• Overtime and irregular hours may be required based on business needs.

This Receiving Clerk Job Requires:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, receiving, inventory, or related experience
• Experience using RF scanners, barcode systems, and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Ability to accurately verify quantities, product condition, labels, and receiving documentation
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or warehouse-specific software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform warehouse tasks using proper ergonomic techniques
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory control software, RFID technology, or automated warehouse systems
• Knowledge of lean warehouse practices, 5S, or continuous improvement methods
• Technical certification in warehouse operations or a related field
