Reporting to the General Manager, the Team Member is the first point of contact for all membership‑related questions, requests, and concerns and is responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to customers. This position requires work to be performed in person at the assigned location. Responsibilities and Duties Provide quick and friendly customer service to guests within the car wash. Learn and operate all aspects of point of sale and LPR systems. Oversee all property aesthetics. Create and retain new customer relations, including monthly wash packages. Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of car wash and grounds. Monitor the wash quality of the vehicle. Learn and uphold the WE OWN IT culture. Conduct cleaning and hourly inspections. Be an Ambassador for our Unlimited Club. Protect member confidentiality according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and related state and federal laws. Perform any additional tasks that pertain to benefiting the company and taking care of the guests. What we expect from a Tommy’s Express guest services Team Member Try your best every day. Essential Physical Functions This job operates in a professional retail environment. Car wash operating hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00am – 9:00pm. This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including both indoor and outdoor work. The job and work environment is fun, clean, and fast-paced. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with urgency. Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery, etc. Able to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing), detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information. Able to move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. Able to work and commute in all weather conditions. Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers. Continual standing, moving, and walking for several consecutive hours during shift, which comprises 80% of daily duties. Remain stationary for approximately 20% of daily duties. Qualifications and Skills Exceptional verbal and communication skills. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must be able to successfully pass a drug test. Customer service background preferred. Punctuality and reliability is a must. Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve. Successful completion of Tommy’s University training program. Basic computer proficiency, including, but not limited to, point of sale system. Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic! Salary and Benefits (Full-time status) Competitive pay $11.50 – $13.50/hour + $0.75/hour with attendance incentive. 401K program with excellent company match (must be 21 years old to qualify).
