Warehouse Associate

Warehouse OperatorSirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support warehouse and shipping operations in Axis, AL. This is a hands-on position responsible for preparing finished products for shipment, operating forklifts, staging raw materials, loading trailers and containers, and completing basic shipping documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift safely to move, stage, load, and unload materials and finished products.Prepare packaged drums and totes for shipment to customers.Follow written work orders, shipping instructions, and established load patterns.Stage raw materials as needed to support plant operations.Weigh drums and accurately record weights and shipment information.Enter basic shipping and inventory information into Excel spreadsheets.Take and upload shipment photos and documents and communicate shipment information by email.Assist with loading finished goods into trailers and shipping containers.Measure and prepare dunnage/wood materials to properly secure shipments.Use a tape measure and basic hand and power tools, including skill saws, hammers, box cutters, and scissors.Lift and position plywood and other shipping materials inside trailers and containers.Provide forklift support to the storeroom for incoming deliveries.Assist with escorts and other warehouse activities as needed.Follow all PPE, safety, housekeeping, and site requirements.Work independently or collaboratively with the warehouse team based on operational needs.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED.Comfortable and experienced operating a forklift.Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Excel; training can be provided for specific Excel data-entry processes.Ability to read and follow written work orders and instructions.Ability to accurately read a tape measure.Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when required.Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and handling plywood, dunnage, and other shipping materials.Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, where temperatures may be hotter or colder than outdoor conditions.Ability to wear required PPE at all times; PPE will be provided.Ability to travel to the Chickasaw warehouse as needed.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse or material-handling experience.Experience loading trucks, trailers, or shipping containers.Shipping, receiving, staging, or finished-goods experience.Sirius Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
