As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Normal, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an unarmed patrol professional with driving responsibilities. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working as part of a team, you will support daily operations with integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative environment.

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic, verify credentials when required, and support access control processes for employees, guests, and/or deliveries.
- Assist with incident reporting, policy reminders, and coordination during alarms, medical events, weather-related issues, and/or operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
