Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview Seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled education, treatments, and interventions under the direction of a physical therapist and physician, primarily in home health settings. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct physical therapy services, treatments, and procedures as per the care plan. Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers about the plan of care. Report patient observations and changes to supervisors and physicians. Assist in relieving pain, restoring function, and enhancing performance. Educate patients and caregivers on safe device use and rehabilitation techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to discuss and plan patient care. Prepare discharge plans and instructions, ensuring smooth transitions. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and daily reports. Participate in in-service programs and adhere to professional standards and confidentiality protocols. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Valid CPR certification. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Key Duties Provide skilled therapy aligned with the care plan. Educate and communicate effectively with patients and team members. Monitor and report patient progress and conditions.
