Treasury Specialist

Summary/Objective:

The Treasury Specialist I is responsible for overseeing and maintaining cash controls.

What you will do:

• Balancing daily batch reports to ensure cash and loan activity reconcile
• Researching borrower activity and monetary transactions on our loan servicing system
• Conduct daily teller balancing procedures in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconciliation of clearing and disbursement accounts
• Daily funds movements - working with online banking applications
• Process the daily funding of overdraft accounts and pulling daily bank balances
• Provide support for audits
• Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Education and Experience:

• Proficient with PC, Word, Excel
• Associate degree with focus in Accounting/Finance, preferred
• Mortgage banking experience, preferred
