Security Officer Patrol Alarm Systems in Detroit, MI As a Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate in a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional workplace environment. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
