Financial Solutions Advisor - Western Long Island Market

Bank of America is seeking a financial advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions to clients. Responsibilities Build a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑managed solutions. Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client goals and needs. Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds. Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities. Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele. Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended. Required Qualifications Current Series 7 & 66 licenses (Series 63 or 65 acceptable in lieu of 66, with passing score for missing series within 60 days). At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services. At least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded. Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, and collaborate effectively with others. Strong communication skills and comfort engaging all clients. Capacity to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast‑paced environment. Adaptability and a commitment to learning and providing the right solutions for clients. Efficient time and capacity management. Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long‑term strategies. Compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements, including completion of required background checks and registration processes. Desired Qualifications Strong computer skills and multitasking ability. At least three years of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded. Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). Insurance licenses. Minimum Education Requirement High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. Shift 1st shift (United States). Hours Per Week 40 Pay and Benefits Annual pay range: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00, based on experience, education, and skill set. Formulaic incentive eligibility may apply.
