Salary

Annual Compensation: $84,000 - $111,000 (based on experience)
Sign-on bonuses: Available

Address: 761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT (Fairfield County; outpatient clinic)

Job Type

Employment Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Shifts will alternate between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. We offer flexibility in scheduling and are open to discussing options for 10-hour versus 8-hour shifts. Further details will be provided during the interview.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your success will be achieved by:

• Utilizing clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying issues through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively creating and modifying evidence-based care plans that align with each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to enhance function and alleviate pain.
• Monitoring significant patient outcomes and adjusting treatment approaches based on progress and clinical observations.
• Acting as a trusted resource and advocate for patients throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications

Requirements for Physical Therapists:

• Valid Physical Therapist License in good standing in Connecticut.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in an outpatient clinic treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative, pre-operative, and non-operative cases. This experience can be gained as a licensed Physical Therapist or during clinical affiliations for new graduates.
