Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor (MS) located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing trauma care within a Level I Trauma Center in a Short Term Acute Care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of shift. The role requires engaging in a fast-paced environment that demands clinical expertise in trauma and surgical patient management.

• Required Qualifications: MO license; BCLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); 5 years of experience; 6 patient ratio experience; experience with EPIC charting system; trauma Level I and II experience; travel experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Must pass Relias EKG exam and have interpretation and management skills for dysrhythmias. Candidates should possess experience with ER or ICU trauma patients, including management of spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, ortho trauma, surgical drains, chest tubes, non-invasive ventilation devices, wound care, and trauma-specific procedures. Experience with EPIC charting system and Level I trauma care is essential.
