Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Kearny, NJ

We are seeking a detail oriented Quality Inspector to ensure incoming materials, in process assemblies, and finished products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This role is responsible for performing inspections, analyzing quality issues, driving corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

• Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections using inspection plans, drawings, and specifications.

• Conduct product and subassembly testing to verify quality and compliance.

• Utilize precision measuring tools, including calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions.

• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Review documentation for compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

• Audit manufacturing processes and quality systems to ensure adherence to company policies and specifications.

• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably ISO-certified.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe, and document control systems.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments and reading technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $54080.00/yr.
