Your future role at a glance Location: Murfreesboro, TN Facility: Saint Thomas Rutherford Department: Rehabilitation Schedule: Full-Time | Days How you'll make an impact in this role Intervention Delivery: Conduct therapeutic exercises, massage, stretching, and gait training as prescribed in the PT's plan of care. Patient Education: Instruct patients and their families on how to continue rehabilitation at home and use assistive devices like walkers or crutches. Progress Tracking: Observe patients before, during, and after therapy sessions to record their status and report results back to the supervising PT. Modality Administration: Use specialized equipment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to promote healing. Support Coordination: Oversee physical therapy aides and students while maintaining a clean, sanitized treatment environment What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy prior tohire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
