What You'll Do:
- Provide personalized support tailored to each individual's needs, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, household chores, medical appointments, and community activities.
- Encourage and develop self-help skills to promote greater independence and confidence.
- Support medication management by administering prescribed medications safely, recording doses accurately, and monitoring for any reactions.
- Observe and promptly report behavioral, physical, or emotional changes to ensure timely intervention and continuous support.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of care plans, progress notes, and health records in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment by applying CPR and First Aid when needed.
- Respect participants' confidentiality and privacy, honoring their rights and dignity at all times.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- No prior experience necessary-we provide comprehensive training, including CPR certification.
- Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to fostering independence and inclusion.
- Competitive pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $19.40 per hour, depending on shift.
