Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist – Norwich, Connecticut Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist to work in an outpatient facility in Norwich, Connecticut for a 13‑week assignment starting 05/18/2026. The position is 5 days × 8‑hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Assist patients in recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions. Perform evaluations and develop plans of care, including goal setting and functional treatment planning. Document in electronic medical records, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry (preferred). Supervise and delegate to support staff and students and participate in student education when assigned. Adhere to safety practices, including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety. Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Outpatient experience required. Demonstrated competency in evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and functional treatment planning. Experience with electronic medical records documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry (preferred). Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and students, and to participate in student education when assigned. Maintain professional licensure and complete state‑mandated continuing education as required by the Connecticut State Practice Act. Adherence to organizational safety practices such as safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety. Assignment Details Facility type: Outpatient. Shift pattern: 5×8 schedule.
