Parts Advisor
Jim Shorkey is in search of a Parts Advisor to join our team.
The Parts Advisor is responsible for inventory accuracy, parts locations, and organization of materials throughout the dealership.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts, not in stock.
- Complete special-order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer.
- Oversee the automotive parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer.
- Process daily parts order with CDK scanner
- Pull parts orders for technician and counter people.
- Inventory and Stocking
- Managing stock
- Parts lookup
- Disbursing parts to technicians
- Waiting on retail customers

Requirements
- Prior dealership parts and CDK experience is a huge plus.
- Must be over 18
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Knowledge and understanding of inventory
- Knowledge and understanding of receiving
- Possess phone skills for both employee and customer interactions
- Have basic computer skills. Training will be provided for necessary programs
- Dealership experience not required.
