About the role: Successful navigation of the policy landscape is critical to deploying and scaling a business. Samsara is looking to grow its Public Policy and Government Relations team by adding an experienced, agile, and capable Manager to forge new relationships, represent the company, and advance our interests in U. S. State and Local markets. Our team works closely with lawmakers, regulatory bodies, trade associations, industry experts and others to proactively engage in initiatives that advance Samsara’s business interests. Internally, our efforts support innovative work across the business, including the engineering, product, strategy, legal, and partnerships teams. The ideal candidate will enjoy serving as a key contributor on a diverse range of substantive advocacy initiatives, aid in identifying opportunities for sales enablement and engagement, developing creative strategies and content, and representing Samsara externally to key stakeholders in state and local government and allied third parties. This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D. C. Metro Area.
